About MeDr. O John Ma continues an active life in healthcare despite his retirement from full-time practice as an emergency physician. In addition to maintaining an active volunteer life and other medical jobs, he focuses on healthcare innovations and best practices.
As a healthcare consultant, Dr. John Ma supports extensive medical facilities with quality improvement and patient safety. Additionally, he is a journalist. Dr. John Ma began his college education at the University of Colorado at Boulder in 1981. From 1981 to 1986, he earned a bachelor of arts. Following the university's Junior Year Abroad Scholarship Program, a year was spent abroad at Lancaster University in Lancaster, England. After graduating from 1986 to 1990, he pursued his medical degree at the George Washington University School of Medicine in Washington, D.C. Beginning with an internship in internal medicine at the Washington Hospital Center in Washington, D.C., from 1990 to 1991, the postgraduate training was highly diversified. John Ma began his residency in emergency medicine at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee in 1991. From 1993 to 1994, he served as Chief Resident. Throughout his medical career, Dr. O John Ma's competence opened the door to numerous new managerial chances. From 2001 through 2012, management-related training was completed at various times. The other curriculum covered physicians in management, hospital department chairpersons, and lean leader training. John Ma got a certificate in Executive MBA Essentials and participated in workshops for new and aspiring chairpersons and a physician leadership academy. |
